For years she thought that she had come from a baby plant in the garden patch behind the hospital. Why else did parents go to the hospital to get their new babies, she wondered. She grew up though (as all little kids do, sadly enough!) and left behind her childhood wisdom, letting it become a distant memory covered by layers of dust as the next twenty-three years went by.
One day her family gave her a present that painted her life since the day she left that garden patch – a book entitled “The Cabbage Patch Kid”. She held the book and saw her baby face smiling back at her from the bud of a green cabbage. So it really was true, she thought. I never should have stopped believing it, I really did come from the garden behind the hospital.
Welcome here! This blog’s mission is to hold on to that childhood wisdom and creativity that slipped by years ago. May the child within us never grow up as the years go by!
